In the Spring, Lucas and I did a fun "end of the year" trip before heading back to Canada for the Summer. We hit a few places we thought could make up a good road trip: Bruges (Belgium), Dunkirk (France) for a little history and obviously a little Paris stop. Bruges was definitely a beautiful first stop, knowing we were going to enjoy delicious waffles, amazing views and of course a good Belgian beer. We were able to pop into De Halve Maan brewery for a beer tour, along with a unique night walking tour to get all the quirky facts about Bruges! It's definitely a city worth stopping into if you're in the area!

Of course we stopped for some huge Belgian waffles, and this place looked like the perfect spot! Plus, I read about it on a blog before we came... I'm pretty sure all we did was eat and drink in this city.

We wove our way through the adorable streets to Huisbrouwerij De Halve Maan brewery... way too excited! We got to tour the beautiful tavern, which has been in production for the last 160 years, and definitely enjoy a beer in the courtyard afterward. Definitely go check out this place!
