My friend, Tamy, and I decided to utilize our warm, sunny day by taking just over an hour train ride from Geneva, Switzerland to Annecy - a cute little French town over the border into France. She had been to this town in the summer with her fiancé before, and I was so excited to be shown around.
Maybe it was the weather that just enhanced every emotion I had for this town, but it was so cute and such a perfect day! The day started off with a coffee as we walked around all the quaint streets and canals, enjoying all the little shops, and ended with us bringing home treats and a delicious, Savoie rosé wine. I guess in the summer, it's very lively (even more lively than it was for us that day!) and has festivals and different events near the water. Even fun grass Volleyball tournaments to watch or sign up to play. I'd definitely suggest a stop in to this sweet French town if you're ever in the area.
