An Italian Engagement

We met Antonio and Serena through Lucas's Italian Volleyball Club team once we moved to our small town in Italy. Lucas and Antonio were teammates, and so I met Serena one evening at a dinner hang out with the team and girlfriends. I instantly knew Serena was a special one and we clicked right away, regardless of the occasional language barrier! I was so grateful to have met a friend early on in the season... especially her:)

From then on, I'd go to games, coffee dates or evening aperitivo hang outs with Serena! I can still remember that day in the gym that she came up to me to share that she and Antonio got engaged that past weekend. I was so thrilled and honoured that they asked for some engagement pictures:)

We were super lucky to have beautiful vineyards, olive trees and a huge almond tree farm just across from my apartment, so we enjoyed all the white blooming flowers and the beautiful Spring day! These two are honestly the cutest together!! It felt like I was intruding on a relaxing, outdoor date for the two of them.
